At Seffy Grove, empowering women isn’t just an initiative—it’s a core principle that fuels our community’s growth.

Empowering Women

Our 150-strong workforce draws from the local community, with women making up half of our team. We know that women are the heart of their families and central to the well-being of our region. By investing in their skills and offering steady, year-round employment, we’re providing the foundation for lasting community development.

Located near Nyamugesha, a town whose name translates to “blessed land,” Seffy Grove has brought steady, reliable income to an area where work was previously limited to seasonal harvests. For women, this consistent employment opportunity has transformed lives, offering financial stability, independence, and the chance to invest in their families’ futures.

Training and Skill-Building

Empowering Women with Practical Knowledge

Seffy Grove is committed to skills training, helping our female workforce become knowledgeable and skilled in sustainable farming. Our training covers essential aspects of macadamia cultivation, from planting and caring for trees to pruning techniques that support optimal growth.

Women are also engaged in planting and managing cover crops, an essential part of our soil health program. Through training in Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), including bean cultivation, our team is well-equipped to enhance yields and maintain high standards.

Impact Beyond the Farm

By equipping women with these skills, we’re supporting their growth as agricultural leaders within the community. The impact extends beyond our farm, as these practices strengthen food security and environmental sustainability across the region.

At Seffy Grove, we believe that investing in women is one of the most powerful ways to drive positive change. With every tree planted, crop harvested, and skill mastered, we’re building a more prosperous, resilient future for Nyamugesha and for all who call it home.

Economic Growth, Sustainability, and Innovation

Our Commitment

Our commitment goes beyond the farm. We’re building a network of outgrowers across the region, empowering local farmers to join us in growing macadamia and investing in their communities. Together, we’re fostering economic growth, sustainability, and innovation in one of the most fertile regions of the world.

Nurturing the Land, Empowering Communities, Committed to Quality.
