At Seffy Grove, we’re laying the groundwork for a collaborative future where our community prospers alongside our farm. While our outgrower network is in the development phase, we’ve invested in a rootstock mother orchard designed to support local farmers with top-quality macadamia seedlings.
Once fully operational, our mother orchard will have the capacity to produce up to 500,000 seedlings per year, enabling us to supply local outgrowers with an abundant source of premium planting material.
By grafting these seedlings ourselves, we are able to significantly reduce production costs, and we’re passing these savings directly to our surrounding community. Through this initiative, farmers in our region will have access to affordable, high-quality seedlings and the opportunity to benefit from our macadamia processing facility.
We’re also committed to sharing our expertise. Our farm will serve as a demonstration site, where outgrowers can observe and learn best practices in sustainable macadamia farming. Our team will provide hands-on training in grafting, soil management, and crop care, ensuring each outgrower has the knowledge to succeed and contribute to a thriving local network.
