Matoke Plantation for Land Optimization and Food Security

In areas where the gradient is too steep for macadamia cultivation, we’ve dedicated 12 hectares to matoke, Uganda’s staple banana crop. Grown along the slopes of our valleys, matoke makes efficient use of our land, turning otherwise challenging terrain into a productive asset. This crop provides a valuable food source for our employees and generates additional income for Seffy Grove, making it an essential component of our farm’s holistic approach to land management.

At Seffy Grove, our seed production and matoke farming exemplify our commitment to agricultural sustainability, efficiency, and community well-being. Through innovative partnerships and mindful farming practices, we’re not only cultivating crops but building a resilient future for our land and the people who depend on it.

Economic Growth, Sustainability, and Innovation

Our Commitment

Our commitment goes beyond the farm. We’re building a network of outgrowers across the region, empowering local farmers to join us in growing macadamia and investing in their communities. Together, we’re fostering economic growth, sustainability, and innovation in one of the most fertile regions of the world.

Nurturing the Land, Empowering Communities, Committed to Quality.
